The Microsoft Certified Educator: Technology Literacy for Educators is an intermediate-level course and certification intended to be a valid and reliable measure of competencies as measured by the 21st Century Learning Design (21CLD) framework. Becoming certified with the Technology Literacy for Educators certification also offers pre-service or in-service educators a credential to differentiate themselves from current and future employers.

The Microsoft Certified Educator: Technology Literacy for Educators course and certification is intended for individuals preparing to become classroom educators, current educators, faculty at teacher training or pre-service colleges, educational administrators, or other professionals looking to provide validation of competency.
